Gender, stereotypes, masculinity: working with adolescent males to promote positive relationships and combat gender-based violence

The training course, organised within the framework of the European project ‘Engaged in Equality - Challenging masculinities and engaging adolescent boys to end gender-based violence’, with the Istituto degli Innocenti as a partner, is addressed to teachers of first and second grade secondary schools.

The training will focus on the following topics: gender and masculinity in adolescence; gender-based violence: from a toxic masculinity to a caring masculinity; and prevention of gender-based violence in schools through peer education.
