New Agreement Between the Institute and the University of Florence

The collaboration between the Istituto degli Innocenti and the University of Florence, which began in 2022, is being strengthened and expanded. The two institutions signed a new three-year Framework Agreement to carry out joint research, teaching, design, dissemination and popularisation of cultural heritage activities.
In detail, the areas of collaboration are:
- Design and Research in thematic areas concerning childhood, adolescence and families, including joint participation in calls of national and international importance to fund research activities or innovative interventions;
- Education and Training, with particular focus on the design and implementation of higher education initiatives, postgraduate specialisation courses and Level I and II university master’s courses;
- Information, Dissemination and Promotion with particular focus on organising conferences and seminar, visits, exchange and in-depth study of experiences, communication and information activities;
- Experimentation in the Educational, Social and Cultural Areas through designing and implementing interventions of an innovative nature to support minors, young people and families;
- Popularisation of the Cultural Heritage with particular reference to the development of research activities and the organisation of cultural events, exhibitions, visits, and workshops designed to increase knowledge of the historical and artistic heritage, and to disseminate it through scholarly communication, while at the same time providing high-quality training opportunities for students.
